JT put together his “American Standard” album in late 2020, using several popular broadway songs from pre 1970 but applying his trademark style to them.

I got close enough to shake his hand near the end of a show outside of San Francisco many years ago.
It’s been quite a while for me, too (D18).
I haven’t been to a JT show since 2016 and not sure about going again. His voice is different now.
The guitar work and band are as solid as ever, however.
