Song Origin
Circa 1966: JT, Danny “Kootch” Kortchmar, and old friends Zach Wiesner (bass) and Joel O’Brien (drums) got a gig as the house band for the Night Owl Cafe, a popular nightspot in Greenwich Village. The song was inspired by their tenure there.
