A 1981 Timothy White Rolling Stone feature on JT includes quotes from his father, Isaac, along with lots of insight into JT’s formative years and career up to that point. White, who was editor-in-chief of Billboard and a long-time friend of JT, did a live chat here at JTO after the release of his biography, James Taylor: Long Ago And Far Away. He died in 2002. Also, Billboard has published a new Track-By-Track Retrospective of JT’s debut album on the 50th anniversary of its release.
