I rec’d this message in facebook, and a friend asked that I share this in JTO for those who knows and/or remembers w fondness, a good friend in Scotland.
,,,know that my mum passed away in hospital on Saturday evening after a sudden infection which overwhelmed her frail 85 year old body. It all happened shockingly quickly. I was with her all day Saturday and she died in no pain, no suffering and with her family and my closest friends around her. The hospital staff were also stunned at the speed of her decline. Would you kindly let my JTO friends know
You and your family are in our thoughts, JD. Because of (many) ppl like you sometimes I miss the old chatroom… where shenanigans ruled!

Carol (Arkie)My condolences JD, sad the older we get the more dear family and friends we see pass away. but the good memories stay and give us a smile. Glad to hear I am not the only one to miss the old chatroom.
